WEBB FRAME STAGEMANAKIN PROJECT REAR ELEVATION

Hermitage Road

Manakin, Virginia

Model: Custom Linwood

Style: Contemporary Post & Beam

Size: 1800 SF

Status: Rough Frame

Mother Nature has certainly worked against us the last couple months but we’re finally under way in Goochland.  We commenced framing Wednesday the 24th and the past weeks weather has allowed us to make great progress.  We will be handling construction through the frame/dry in stage then consulting with this customer through its completion.  Stay tuned for open house dates as we hope to coordinate a frame stage tour for those of you interested in previewing timber frame construction.

Georges Mill Road

Palmyra, Virginia

Model: Custom Cabin

Style: Reclaimed Timber Frame

Size: 900 SF

Status: Framing

Our prized reclaimed cabin is nearing completion and it’s turning into quite a work of art.   This project is truly “Off The Grid!” 80% of this Timber Frame cabin is being completed with reclaimed oak barn timbers. A rainwater capture system will be  implemented to handle septic requirements. Heating and cooling will be accomplished through a combination of woodstove, passive solar and cross ventilation. We’ve even incorporated a built in, underground cement cooler to handle basic food refrigeration.
My father Jayme and his trusty sidekick Felix have worked their hands to the bone on this one!  Each board requires a tremendous amount of attention to detail and Jayme Collier is just the craftsman for the job.  Please contact our office if you care to come out and preview this project.

Providence for main projects page

Buck Horn Lane, Wintergreen Resort

Wintergreen, Virginia

Model: Modified Linwood Providence

Style: Post & Beam

Size: 2,200 SF

Status: Complete

This fantastic Post & Beam mountain retreat recently reached completion and the owners have settled in for their first winter.  The Linwood Providence floor plan was expanded from 1600sf to approximately 2200sf.  Much of the added space was achieved with the addition of the loft that looks out over the great room.
