Jayson Collier

Jayson Collier – General Manager

Jayson grew up alongside his father in the construction industry. He spent his summers framing, roofing, siding and running interior trim. He graduated Hampden-Sydney College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Managerial Economics. Upon graduation he spent several years in both the real estate and medical device fields before returning to his construction roots. In 2001, Jayson moved to Charlottesville, VA and fell in love with the area. He quickly recognized a need in the market place for well built, reasonably priced custom homes. As he and his father formed the company, his vision was to provide high quality custom homes, at reasonable prices, while maintaining an enjoyable customer experience throughout the process. That vision is very much alive today at Summit.

Prior to launching Summit, he worked as a project manager for H.H. Hunt, a well known Richmond based production firm that averaged over 100 homes per year. After tiring of both the pace and absence of quality that results from production building, Jayme left Hunt and moved to Charlottesville to help launch Summit with Jayson. Today, Jayme oversees Summit's quality control measures. His highly trained eye oversees every aspect of production ensuring that Summit provides you with the level of quality you seek in your project.
